How to Import an RHD Jetour T2 to Malawi: Step-by-Step Buyer's Guide
Malawi is landlocked, so importing a Jetour T2 means choosing a port and a transit route. Here is the step-by-step process.

To import a right-hand-drive Jetour T2 to Malawi, you choose a sea port — Beira, Nacala or Dar es Salaam — order CIF to that port, and use a transit agent to bring the vehicle by road to Lilongwe or Blantyre, where it is cleared and registered. The steps below explain each stage.
1. Choose your port: Beira, Nacala or Dar es Salaam?
| Port | Country | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| Beira | Mozambique | Common route to Blantyre and southern Malawi |
| Nacala | Mozambique | Northern corridor route into Malawi |
| Dar es Salaam | Tanzania | Often used for Lilongwe and northern Malawi |
Ask your transit agent which route they prefer — we quote CIF to any of these ports.
2. Pick the right T2 for Malawi
Malawi drives on the left, so you need right-hand drive. For rural roads, NGO and project work, choose the T2 2.0TD 4WD. For Lilongwe and Blantyre city use, the 1.5TD costs less. If you need seven seats on a budget, compare the Jetour X70.
3. Request a CIF quotation
Send the model, engine, quantity, color and port. We reply with availability and a CIF price. Orders start from one unit and can mix models.
4. Confirm the proforma invoice and pay
Check the PI — especially right-hand drive, engine and color — then pay according to the terms on it. In-stock units ship within 10 working days of payment.
5. Shipping, documents and transit
We load the vehicle, send milestone photos or video, and provide the export documents. Your transit agent collects the car at the port and drives or trucks it to Malawi.
6. Duties, clearance and registration
Import duties and taxes are administered by the Malawi Revenue Authority. Your clearing agent calculates them from the CIF value and completes clearance and registration. See also our Malawi market guide.
