The 2026 Jetour T2 is the off-road-styled flagship SUV of Chery's Jetour brand. It pairs a square, upright body with a choice of a 1.5T front-wheel-drive powertrain or a 2.0T engine with on-demand four-wheel drive and a rear differential lock. With 220 mm of ground clearance, a 700 mm wading depth and a 70-litre fuel tank, it suits buyers who drive long distances on gravel, sand and unsealed roads. We supply the T2 new (0 km) in right-hand drive to dealers, fleet operators and trading companies in East and Southern Africa, Malaysia and other left-traffic markets.
The T2 is the model most of our RHD buyers ask about first. It looks and drives like a larger off-roader, but it is built on a unibody platform with independent suspension, so it stays comfortable on tarmac and economical enough for daily use. Dealers use it as a showroom traffic builder; tour operators and NGOs choose the 2.0T four-wheel-drive versions for gravel and sand.
Two engines are offered. The 1.5TD (135 kW / 184 PS, 290 N·m) drives the front wheels through a 7-speed wet dual-clutch gearbox and is the value choice for city and highway markets. The 2.0TD (187 kW / 254 PS, 390 N·m) adds on-demand four-wheel drive, a rear differential lock, off-road and snow modes and a 1,600 kg trailer towing rating.
Inside, every current T2 has a 15.6-inch central touchscreen, a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster and a 360-degree camera. Higher trims add adaptive cruise control with lane-keeping assistance, heated and ventilated front seats with a driver massage function and a 12- or 16-speaker sound system. A long-wheelbase PLUS body (5,034 mm) is available with seven seats in a 2-3-2 layout.
