Seychelles and Mauritius both drive on the left and import right-hand-drive vehicles by sea, usually in containers via a transshipment hub. For buyers there, a reliable exporter is one that ships small quantities, plans container space well and documents every step. We supply the Jetour T2 and Jetour Dashing new in right-hand drive, from one unit.
What should I check in a Jetour exporter?
- Written specification: a proforma invoice that states right-hand drive, engine, trim, color and Incoterm.
- Small order support: a minimum order of one unit and mixed models in one container.
- Transparency: photos or video of your actual vehicle at each milestone.
- Documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading and certificate of origin for your clearing agent.
- Responsiveness: a named sales manager who replies within 24 hours.
How are vehicles shipped to the islands?
We ship in containers to Port Victoria (Mahé, Seychelles) or Port Louis (Mauritius). Containers protect vehicles on longer transshipment routes and allow two models — for example a T2 and a Dashing — in one booking.
T2 or Dashing for island roads?
On narrow island roads, the 4.6-metre Dashing is easier to park and economical (from 6.93 L/100 km WLTC). The T2 suits hotels, tour operators and buyers who want a larger, rugged SUV.
Duties and registration
In Seychelles, duties are administered by the Seychelles Revenue Commission; in Mauritius, by the Mauritius Revenue Authority. Ask your clearing agent for current requirements before ordering. More detail in our Seychelles market guide.
